HOMINY, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has locked down all prisons statewide and canceled all visitations following an unspecified “incident” at a medium security prison in northeastern Oklahoma.“A statewide lockdown was implemented after an incident occurred at the Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy,” about 30 miles (48 kilometers) northwest of Tulsa, according to a statement Friday night.Department spokesperson Kay Thompson said in an email Saturday that the incident is still under investigation and did not elaborate on the event.The Dick Conner Correctional Center also has a minimum security prison on its grounds and houses about 1,200 inmates, according to the Department of Corrections website.In September 2021, prisons statewide were locked down following what authorities said were gang-related attacks that injured several inmates at six of the department’s 21 prisons, including the Dick Conner Correctional Center.The Associated PressWhen will Facebook settlement payments be sent out? (KTVX) – Cinemark has announced the return of Summer Movie Clubhouse, a program offering discounted tickets for families looking to "escape from the summer heat" with a trip to the theater.Cinemark's Summer Movie Clubhouse, which runs from June 19 through August 10, offers showings of family-friendly films for $1.50 per ticket (plus taxes and fees) every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Some locations will also offer additional showtimes on Mondays and Thursdays; customers can check with their local theater for showtimes. AUSTIN (KXAN) — San Marcos' eviction delay rule, which started in 2020, will end at the end of June, according to the city. The city's disaster declaration will end June 30 after a 4-2 city council vote Tuesday. An eviction delay ordinance will also end June 30 when the local state of disaster ends. RELATED: San Marcos approves new contract with police union The disaster declaration began in March 2020 at the onset of the pandemic. In April 2020, council members approved an ordinance requiring landlords to give tenants a 90-day notice before issuing a notice to vacate if delinquent rent payments were related to COVID-19 effects. The city said this gave tenants an opportunity to fix overdue rent, fees or other charges before eviction. AUSTIN (KXAN) — The III Army Corps is asking for help finding a missing soldier from Fort Cavazos. Spc. Craig Chamberlain was last seen leaving his Killeen home around 6 p.m. Monday with no contact with his family or chain of command since, according to a Friday news release. Chamberlain is described as a 5-foot-7-inch white male with brown hair and hazel eyes, weighing 156 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and gym shorts. A suspect is in custody after a man was shot and killed on St. Paul’s East Side early Saturday morning, police said.Shortly after midnight, a 911 caller reported shots fired near the intersection of Payne Avenue and Arlington Avenue East, according to a press release from the police department. When officers arrived and searched the area they found a man who had been shot in the alley near the 600 block of Arlington Avenue. St. Paul fire medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.Another 911 caller in the 2100 block of Waukon Avenue called to say they had been involved in the shooting, authorities said.A person is in custody in connection with the shooting and is cooperating with investigators. WHITE CREEK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On May 19, the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on County Route 68 in White Creek, near the Vermont state line. A man was injured following a shooting at the Newport Pier Friday night. Newport Beach Police responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon around 10:30 p.m. near McFadden Place and Oceanfront.
