Over 280 sickened on Princess cruise ship; company points to 'likely' cause GALVESTON, Texas (KIAH) – A cruise ship that recently returned to Galveston, Texas, is at the center of an investigation after over 280 people were sickened on a recent voyage, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.The Ruby Princess, part of the Princess Cruises lines, reported that 284 people, including 34 crew members, had become ill on a round-trip voyage to the Caribbean and Mexico that departed from Galveston on Feb. 26, according to the CDC. There were a total of 2,881 people onboard the ship, including 1,159 crew members.The affected passengers and crew had symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, but the cause has yet to be identified, the CDC said.Princess Cruises, in an emailed statement shared with Nexstar, believes the "likely" culprit was norovirus, a type of contagious virus that can cause acute gastroenteritis. Man killed after fiery two-vehicle crash on West Side CHICAGO —  Police are investigating what caused a deadly two-vehicle crash on the city's West Side.The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Cicero. Police said a white Chevy Traverse speeding northbound on Cicero struck an Acura MDX in the rear near Cortez, causing it to catch fire.The male driver of the Acura was pronounced dead on the scene. The male driver of the Chevy was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition and will be issued traffic citations, according to police.An investigation is underway.

FBI release pics of suspects wanted for armored car robbery in Orland Park ORLAND PARK, Ill. — The FBI is seeking the public's help with identifying four suspects wanted in an armored car robbery in Orland Park. Officials say three men jumped out of an SUV armed with semi-automatic pistols and forced the driver into the truck last Saturday. Authorities said the trio stole the contents inside before a fourth suspect, the getaway driver, rode off. Nearly $70K reward offered in disappearance of pregnant postal worker Kierra Coles CHICAGO —  The mother of a pregnant postal worker who disappeared more than four years ago made a new plea for help on Tuesday. Activists raised the reward money to $68,000 for information on the whereabouts of Kierra Coles, who was last seen on Oct. 2, 2018 near 83rd and King Drive.
