In his speech, Biden described the 2017 white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, which he has said helped compel him to run for president in 2020.Hate “never goes away” and “silence is complicity,” Biden said.“We know that American history has not always been a fairy tale,” Biden said, describing a constant “push and pull” between the idea that at all people are created equal and “the harsh reality that racism has long torn us apart.&...Pop acts sing for glory at Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, with Ukraine in spotlight

Roy Cooper affixed his veto stamp to the bill in an unconventionally public display. The bill was the Republican response to last year’s U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade."We’re going to have to kick it into an even higher gear when that veto stamp comes down,” Cooper told the crowd. “If just one Republican in either the House or the Senate keeps a campaign promise to protect women’s reproductive health, we can stop this ban.”Andrea Long, a 42-year-old mother of three from Cary, said she was ...Woman walks into Illinois dealership, steals keys from office and drives car off the lot, video shows
